Friday Faves {Halloween}

So I have been a complete slacker in the blogging department. I have honestly just been enjoying my family for the last couple weeks and it’s been nice. Now, I’m hoping to catch up on cleaning, blogging, and decorating for Halloween! I’m going to be honest, I have never been a huge fan of Halloween. Don’t hate me. Now that I have kids though it’s been fun to decorate for every holiday and I’m hoping to add a couple Halloween decorations this year! Here are some of my faves that I’ve found around blogland lately…
1. Candy Corn Garland. I actually made this last night! So easy and free. You really can’t beat that. Plus it’s super cute.

2. Halloween Party Placecards. IF I were to have a Halloween party I would totally use these for placecards. So cute & easy.
3.And I’m pretty sure this is the cutest Halloween party I have ever seen. I need to steal some of these ideas asap for my décor.
4.This Halloween banner is darling. Too bad I already have two…Maybe I can find another spot for one. One can’t have too many banners right??

5. I really love this wreath. But I just made another Halloween wreath. I have a problem with wreaths and banners. Too many to count.

6. I am sure you’ve heard of my friends over at Classy Clutter. They are pretty much famous. But they have a couple super cute Halloween wreaths over there. I just made my version of one that I’ll share soon and I love it! Also I just saw their super cute sign they just made that I adore. AND they’re giving one away! Go check out all of their fun Halloween ideas :)

Happy Friday everyone! Have a fantastic weekend!

Time to start thinking...

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Kmart for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
about Christmas!! Happy Wednesday everyone!  Is it too early to start thinking about Christmas? I think not. Our family is going on a big Disneyland this year for Christmas so I'm going to have to be SUPER organized before Christmas Eve this year. To be honest, I always wait until Christmas Eve to finalize & wrap our last holiday gifts. Gah the curse of procrastination!! I'm the worst procrastinator. Or is it the best? I think I'm THE best procrastinator there is. Anyways I recently heard about  Kmart's Big Layaway Giveaway. Super cool people. Every week they are picking a new winner!! Kmart offers free layaway and I feel like that would be the perfect way to get your Christmas shopping done early without breaking the bank! Here are a few way Kmart's layaway compares to other stores we shop at...
Kmart Free Layaway Grid 09_12.jpg
Kyle thinks he needs a new tv. I think not. But it would be pretty fun to put this bad boy on layaway and pay it off little by little until Christmas and surprise him! PLUS I could win the giveaway and that would be even better!!

We have been wanting to get the girls a swingset or trampoline forever. This would be an awesome present and can also be put on layaway.

So now you have your motivation to start thinking/taking care of getting those Holiday gifts ready!! Have you started?? What are some ways you get organized for the holidays? I need all the help I can get! :)

What to Expect When You're Expecting {Giveaway}

NO! I am not expecting. haha But as most of you know I have 3 littles running around and I honestly LOVED "What to Expect When You're Expecting" I probably read it 3 times when I was pregnant with my first. And then when I got pregnant with my second I would refer to it often. Every week I loved to compare my child to a fruit. It's always good times people. But seriously this book is THE best for a first time mom, or that mom who forgot everything after you had your last baby. What is it with the forgetting right after you have them??  Being pregnant is difficult, and scary. Especially when it's your first, you have no idea what to expect and that's why this book is so awesome. It goes week by week and tells you exactly what you have to look forward to! I would always cheat and look 2 weeks in advance and then read them over when I actually got to that week. Ha! I was a little overeager pregnant woman :) When I was contacted by the What to Expect.com team I was so excited because these books are FANtastic and I can't wait to read the other 2 books in the series!! Raising toddler is hard and I feel like I can use ALL the help I can get!! So, the good people over at What to Expect are giving TWO readers the entire set of books!! Woohoo! Who wants to win?!  Enter if you are expecting, know someone who is expecting, or will be expecting ever in your lifetime! haha You will want to have these books around! Plus this would make a great shower gift for a first time mom. I don't know one Mom that hasn't read this book at least once or twice...

Now. To enter all you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form! There are a couple of ways to get entries so go and enter! Giveaway ends NEXT Wed. September 26th

Mason Jar Herbs

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Scotts Miracle-Gro for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.
MiracleGro Logo(1).jpg
I've been wanting to plant some herbs for a long time now. So, I decided I'd finally get it done today and I'm so so happy about it!! I love the way my project turned out for my kitchen and I love having fresh herbs around the house!  When I was asked to do this post by Miracle-Gro I went and checked out their Find beauty in the Fall web page and they have TONS of ideas for you to plant some fun Fall gardening! I love it. It makes me want to grow a green thumb ;) But seriously I have killed every plant I've tried to grow and I'm hoping Miracle-Gro can help me out with this! You can check out the Miracle-Gro Facebook page to get more tips. I can use all the help I can get! So. Here is how I started out this project:
First I found a random scrap piece of wood in my garage. Drew the funky shape I wanted to hang my herbs on. Cut it out with your handy dandy jig-saw. Which, by the way, I have officially fallen in love with!

Next, paint your board & mark where you want the nails to be. Uhmm have you seen this trick on Pinterest?? Put some tape where the nail needs to go, stick it to your board and you have the perfect nail hole placer

Now, nail your Pipe Clamps (you can find these at any Lowes or Home Depot) You make have to pry the holes a little to make them a little wider for you nail to fit through. and place your Mason Jar herbs into the holders. When you transplant your herbs into your jars, make sure to add rocks to the bottom so you can get proper drainage! I used Miracle-Gro Liqua-Feed for my herbs and I'm hoping it will help my poor herbs to live :) Liquafeed_Advanced.JPG

Breakfast Casserole Recipes

We recently had Miss Elsie’s blessing. It was beautiful and we had all of our family there to support us. It was absolutely lovely. We also had all of our family over for a little brunch. We made breakfast casserole, bagels, fruit & juice. Here are the recipes for the breakfast casseroles. I’m going to be honest, I only got a picture of one of the recipes because the other was a total FAIL. I tried it in the crockpot & with fresh potatoes and it didn’t quite work out (gag!) But when my father-in-law makes it, it is DElish.

BREAKFAST CASSEROLE (pictured) 1 - 1 1/2 lbs. sausage (Hillshire Farms--Polska Keilbasa is best) 6 slices bread w/out crust (Cheap white Sandwich bread is best) 2 cups grated cheese 6 eggs 2 1/4 cup Milk 3 T.
